As the saying goes "health is wealth " that is not very untrue. However having a wash board stomach and a hour glass figure is a dream of many. Many people can't achieve that but with the right diet and regular excercise the dream is achievable. It is very important understand the two things.

One, NOT FOOD alone can make you lose weight, two crash dieting is not at all a healthy or safe solution. The main thing to remember here is that calorie are the main reason for obesity or fat. The moment you count your calorie intake, you start a healthy diet.

Food containing fibre is considered a helpful method to lose weight as the fibre fills up the stomach easily causing the individual to eat less, so less calories being consumed.

1. Nature food which is high on fibre.
2.Food that is low in calories.
3.Food that is low in fat & sodium.
4.Good diet food should contain high quality protein for energy.
5.Fibre and high water content in the food is must.
Food that taken should be fresh. This causes all the nutrition to be taken in. alcohol, diet pills should be avoided along with chocalates, snacks.

Example of fresh food that is good for weight loss.
Fresh fruits like apple , papayas. Vegetables like peas, cabbage.Whole grain foods such as oatmeal,muesli,whole meal pasta, fresh Fish.

Along with above mentioned products,lime water, orange juices and plain water works wonder for losing weight. The most important thing to remember is that, losing weight is not a war, go ahead with your body not against it.
